Frequent changing
You need to bear in mind that you need to change your baby's bedding as frequently as possible. This is to avoid accumulation of dust and stinky smell especially if your baby urinates on it. It is also wise that you should never leave your child sleeping on the wet bedding because he or she might get sick.
Because of the frequent changing, you must have at least five beddings that you can use alternately.
Proper washing
Using a mild detergent, you must wash the baby beddings gently to make it last longer. There is no need to use strong detergents; after all, your baby never puts mud on it.
Aside from that, you need to consider that it is nice to have it dried under the heat of the sun because it smells better. If there isn't much sun especially if it is winter time, you can have it dried in your clothes dryer.
Also, you need not put scented fabric conditioner on it. You can use the unscented one but make sure that it is hypoallergenic so it will not irritate your baby's smooth and sensitive skin. There are many organic washing agents that you can buy in the market that you can use for safety washing.
You can also iron the infant before putting them on your baby mattress.
Now, if you do these simple things, your baby will surely feel that he or she is loved well by you.
