Bunk beds are undergoing a revolution. It might sound strange but do come in with built-in slides. It's not enough that they provide a sleeping space for the kids. They can also provide the kids a wonderful play area that they can only get from the outdoors and playgrounds.
Having a slide in the bunk bed must be awesome for kids. Imagine them getting up in the morning and sliding their way down to greet a brand new day. Believe me, waking them up wouldn't be a problem in these beds. You will always find children eager to get down through the slides in the morning.
During the day, the bunk bed can virtually turn into a playground. The kids can have fun on the slides. And it's great to get your kids up and moving. You don't have to worry about getting your kids to exercise because for them to repeatedly climb up those ladders and slide their way down can prove to be a real work out.
Of course, even with this great feature, safety should still be a priority. Just ensure that the bed frames are sturdy and the slides have a deep bed that wouldn't cause your kids to fall over the sides. Young and small kids shouldn't be placed on top if you think they couldn't handle the slide on their own. As with any bunk beds, make certain the ladders and rails are sturdy and wouldn't come off. Furthermore, only use this with slide if you have enough space in the room so that your kids can slide to safety and not bump right through the wall or any furniture.
